Wood wick candles may require a little extra attention, so proper care is important!
- Trim the wick: Cut to between 1/8" and 1/4" (3–6 mm) before each use. Remove any burned wood using a wick trimmer, nail clipper, or your fingers. A wick that is too long can cause the flame to become too high, or it may go out on its own.
- Even wax melt: Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface before extinguishing the candle. This prevents tunneling and ensures a longer-lasting burn.
- Ideal burn time: Burn for 1–4 hours per session.
